Reimagining Histories Student Work

The Reimagining Histories: Rosine Association Casebook Discoveries zine, published by Rosine 2.0 as a complement to the Reimagining Histories exhibition, features excerpts of student work that brings to life the experiences of women who interacted with the Rosine Association in 19th-century Philadelphia. Their work, which you can read in full below, responds to casebook entries in the Mira Sharpless Townsend papers, housed at the Friends Historical Library. Contributions are from Vivian Truong’s History 56: “Police, Prisons, & Protests'' class at Swarthmore College, Spring 2022.
