Rosine 2.0 built on the original Rosine Association, an organization from the 1800’s that provided aid and refuge for women facing systemic harm and barriers to care. Emerging from over a year of collective learning, Rosine 2.0 culminated in a series of public art activations in March 2023 that explored harm reduction, mutual aid and collective healing in solidarity with Philadelphia’s drug users, sex workers, and unhoused communities.

Rosine 2.0 engaged an interdisciplinary collective made up of the project management team, artists, harm reductionists, community archivists, partner organizations, and other community members involved in today's street economies (e.g., sex work and drug use). This collective gathered at key moments throughout the project to develop work in Philadelphia.
